Meet The FTF Team

Marcus Hanson

n his youth, Marcus played football for various clubs in the Greater Toronto Area, participating in leagues such as OYSL, CSL, League One Ontario, and NPSL. He secured a NCAA Division 1 scholarship to the University at Buffalo, where he captained the team for 3 years, earning All-Conference 2nd team honors in his senior season. Academically accomplished, Marcus completed degrees in Political Science and Communication with Summa Cum Laude distinction. He has since obtained a Masters degree in Sports Management from Brock University in St. Catherine’s, Ontario.

Henry Mangwiro

In his playing career, Henry played for North York Hearts SC and North Mississauga SC in Ontario where he captained his OYSL team. Henry is a Sports Management graduate from Humber College who specializes in marketing & analytics. In his professional career Henry has worked for many sport organizations in Canada, and now is actively working to assist with the growth of the game by using his background in soccer and knowledge of the sports industry.

Shane Satar

In his playing career, Shane has played majority of his football in Ontario before moving to British Columbia, representing Team Ontario for two years and claiming a spot on the Canada U17 National team pool. He has played in leagues such as OYSL, CSL, League 1 Ontario and the VMSL Premiership. Shane earned himself a NCAA scholarship to the University at Buffalo, where he played for two years before transferring to Simon Fraser University. He graduated from the Beedie School of Business at SFU with a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing. Shane continues to give back to the soccer community as a part-time coach in the BCSPL in British Columbia.

Adam Jones

In his playing career, Adam played all of his youth football in British Columbia for Coquitlam Metro Ford SC. At 20 years old Adam joined the Vancouver Whitecaps then later moved to Seattle Sounders U23. He has participated in leagues such as BCSPL, PDL, and the VMSL Premiership. Adam earned himself an NCAA scholarship to Simon Fraser University where he was a NCAA Division 2 All- American in his junior season. Adam continues to give back to the BC Soccer community as an academy coach for Coquitlam Metro Ford SC.

 

Kevin Calamari

Kevin leads FTF Canada’s media team in providing marketing and branding solutions to offer cutting-edge strategies to soccer businesses, athletes and the sport itself.

After hanging up his boots at the end of high school, Kevin’s passion for soccer left him longing for an opportunity to make an impact in the soccer world once again.

He spent 3+ years developing his creative skill set; which has been a fundamental contribution to the growth of the cumulative profits of our clients by more than 6-figures.

Kevin believes that in order to grow the sport of soccer in Canada to its highest potential, social media and branding must be at the forefront of the game.

Through creative expression and social influence, from local youth clubs to professional clubs— Canadian soccer and its organizations can leave a mark on the lives of the children and athletes of tomorrow. KC
