FTF European ID Clinic 

Take your child’s soccer skills to new heights at our European Identification Clinic tailored for male players aged U10-U18. Female players are welcome to register as long as they are comfortable playing alongside male players for the duration of the Clinic. 

The FTF Euro ID Clinics offer a unique opportunity for young talents to refine their game under the guidance of experienced European Academy Coaches, ensuring a transformative learning experience plus an opportunity to be identified for potential European trials by the academy coaches at the clinics. 

It’s only fitting that our first European ID Clinic in Canada will be taking place in the nation’s capital (Ottawa, Ontario) during the Canada Day Long Weekend (Friday, June 28th – Monday, July 1st). 

6 European Academy coaches will be present from the six countries where it is “easiest” (from a visa standpoint) for Canadians to make the jump into Europe. 

The 6 countries/ leagues where the coaches will come from are as follows. 

1. Germany
2. France
3. Belgium 
4. Italy
5. Portugal 
6. Netherlands 

What’s Included/ Clinic Format
ID Clinic Shirt (provided at registration)
ID Clinic Headshot (provided after the event)
(1) 1.5hr session per day (4 total)
(1) Performance Day (game-play)

Only 50 Spots are available per age group

Location: Immaculata High School – 140 Main Street. Ottawa, ON K1S 5P4

Timing:

9AM -10:30AM – 2012 and 2013 Born
11AM – 12:30PM – 2010 and 2011 Born
12:30PM-2PM – 2008 and 2009 Born
3:00PM – 4:30pm – 2006 and 2007 Born

Players would play on all 4 days. There will be training sessions and games involved in the ID Camp.

Additional Notes:

• Exact coaches from specific clubs will be announced before the event takes place. But what we can guarantee is that they will come from the above-mentioned leagues
• Each session will be coached by a “different” coach. So players can learn from as many different European methodologies as possible.
• Trial opportunities will be provided to players who attend but ‘not all’. This will depend on performance at the ID Clinic and evaluation from European coaches.
• GK Specific coach in attendance – GK’s will have the opportunity to train under the guidance of Michael Courel who is the head GK coach at the youth academy of Le Havre FC from Ligue 1 in France,
• Performance Day/ Game Play will be on the last day of the ID Clinic but can be subject to change.
• Players will train in ‘banded’ age groups (their age or 1 year older/younger).
