IDENTIFICATION OPPORTUNITY
Our Combines provide players with a unique opportunity to showcase their talents in a highly competitive environment in front of Coaches, Scouts, and Agents from North America and abroad.
What To Expect
- Teams coached by University & Collegiate Coaches from Canada and the USA
- Attendance from local colleges and universities
- Live-streamed matches for remote recruiting access
- Exposure to FTF’s extensive network of collegiate contacts
FTF will send:
- Live stream links
- Player rosters
- Player information
to our network of collegiate coaches and scouts prior to the event.
Player Recommendation
We strongly encourage players to contact programs of interest and invite coaches to attend in person or watch online.
Additional Event Benefits
Testing
This will take place on the first day of the combine and will last approximately one to three hours. The testing will include key assessments such as the 30-yard dash, Agility Testing, and Vertical Jump. This addition is designed to enhance player exposure by providing measurable metrics that coaches can use alongside game performance.
Awards
Awards will be given out during and post-event courtesy of our partners, Puma Canada, Control Sox, and Gatorade Canada. Post-Combine articles will be written via ‘The Playbook’ on top performers at the event. All awarded players will be posted on FTF’s social media to increase the exposure of the players.
Feedback
Each team will be coached by a University or Collegiate Coach from Canada or the USA. After the combine is complete, players will receive feedback on their performance provided by their University/Collegiate Coach at the event.
Coaches are grading players in comparison to impact players that are currently within their University/Collegiate Program. The goal of these report cards is to provide constructive feedback for players, so they know the areas of growth that are necessary to play at the next level.
Scouting
FTF Scouts evaluate all players participating in our Combines. Every player has an equal opportunity to be selected for our All-Canadian Event Rankings, which provides an additional accolade and layer of exposure for players to put on their soccer resume.
Game Footage
All games from the Combine will be live streamed on our YouTube channel and available for download once the event is complete.
Professional Headshot
All players will be taking a professional headshot at the event to be used for their soccer resume, which they can access via our Event Photos post event.
Additional Event Opportunities
At the conclusion of each Combine, the top-performing players will receive a free invitation to participate in our FTF Top 60 Showcase in the Summer of 2026 or FTF All-Star Showcase in the Winter of 2026/2027.
The FTF Top 60 Showcase and FTF All-Star Showcase are separate showcases that are invite-only and will feature the top performers across Canada who have participated in an FTF Canada Regional Combine + other talents we have identified over the course of a calendar year.
