FTF Canada continues to support the development and progression of top Canadian talent, as Combine alumni Ava Blinn has officially committed to Dalhousie University and the Dalhousie Tigers women’s soccer program.
A product of Ottawa South United, Blinn earned her opportunity through strong performances at the Top 60 2024 and Halifax Winter Combine 2024, where Dalhousie University staff were in attendance identifying prospective student-athletes.
Blinn’s ability to perform in high-level environments against top players in her class played a key role in her recruitment. Her consistency, work rate, and quality throughout these events translated into direct interest from Dalhousie, ultimately leading to her commitment. She was also recognized nationally with a #137 ranking in the 2026 Grad Class, highlighting her continued development within the Canadian player pool.
Her commitment to Dalhousie University marks the next step in both her academic and athletic journey, where she will compete in U SPORTS within the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) conference, a highly competitive university soccer environment.
Blinn’s pathway reflects the core mission of FTF Canada: providing players with meaningful exposure in front of attending university programs and helping convert those opportunities into next-level outcomes.
