FTF Canada continues to create pathways into top NCAA programs, as Combine alumni Naomi Benjamin has officially committed to the University of South Alabama and the South Alabama Jaguars women’s soccer program.
A product of Markham SC, Benjamin earned her opportunity through consistent high-level performances across multiple FTF Canada events, including the Top 60 2024, FTF x SA All-Star 2025, and Toronto Winter Combine 2024. These events provided direct exposure to University of South Alabama staff, who were in attendance identifying top Canadian talent.
Benjamin’s ability to compete and stand out in elite environments played a key role in her recruitment. Across each showcase, she demonstrated strong technical ability, athleticism, and consistency against some of the top players in her class. Her performances led to direct interest from South Alabama, ultimately securing her NCAA commitment. She was also recognized nationally with a #39 ranking in the 2026 Grad Class, further highlighting her status as a top prospect.
Her commitment to the University of South Alabama marks the next step in both her academic and athletic career, where she will compete in NCAA Division I within the Sun Belt Conference, a competitive environment that continues to develop high-level players.
Benjamin’s pathway reinforces the impact of the FTF Canada platform. Through events such as the Top 60 Showcase, FTF x SA All-Star Game, and Toronto Winter Combine, players are able to gain exposure, build relationships with programs, and convert performances into opportunities at the next level.
