First Touch Football Canada continues to provide a direct pathway for athletes to reach the next level, with another success story emerging from the FTF Toronto Winter Combine Series.
Zoe Abraham, a standout player from BVBIA Waterloo and a FindMeShowcases client, has officially committed to Ontario Tech University Women’s Soccer (Ontario Tech Ridgebacks), competing in U SPORTS and Ontario University Athletics (OUA).
Zoe’s journey is a clear example of how consistent exposure at FTF events leads to real opportunities. She participated in both the FTF Toronto Winter Combine 2024 and FTF Toronto Winter Combine 2025, where Ontario Tech Women’s Soccer staff were in attendance evaluating talent.
Her performances across these events did not go unnoticed. Zoe’s ability to impact the game and perform under pressure helped her stand out among a highly competitive group of athletes. As a result of her continued development and exposure, she has also been recognized nationally, earning a #139 ranking in the 2026 graduating class.
The FTF Combine platform is designed to connect players directly with university programs and professional pathways by placing them in front of verified coaches and scouts. Zoe Abraham’s commitment to Ontario Tech University is another strong example of how the FTF Toronto Combine Series continues to bridge the gap between grassroots football and the university level in Canada.
As FTF Canada expands its national footprint through events like the Toronto Winter Combine, Spring Showdown, and Summer Combine Series, more athletes are turning performances into tangible next-step opportunities.
Zoe Abraham → Ontario Tech University marks another milestone in the growing list of FTF athlete commitments, reinforcing the impact of the platform in helping players achieve both their academic and athletic goals.
