FTF Canada continues to create strong pathways into NCAA Division I, as Combine alumni Emmanuel Cophy has officially committed to Syracuse University and the Syracuse Orange men’s soccer program.
A product of CS LaSalle, Cophy earned his opportunity through consistent high-level performances across multiple FTF Canada events, including the FTF x TFC All-Star Game 2025, Montreal Summer Combine 2025, and Ottawa Winter Combine 2025. These events provided direct exposure to Syracuse University men’s soccer staff, who were in attendance identifying top talent.
Cophy demonstrated his ability to compete at a high level against strong competition, showcasing his athleticism, technical quality, and impact in match play. His performances led to direct recruitment interest from Syracuse, ultimately securing his commitment.
His commitment to Syracuse University marks the next step in both his academic and athletic career, where he will compete in NCAA Division I within the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), one of the top conferences in the United States.
