FTF Canada continues to create strong pathways into U SPORTS, as Combine alumni Sienna DeGuzman has officially committed to the University of Alberta and the Alberta Golden Bears and Pandas women’s soccer program.
A product of the Calgary Blizzard Soccer Club, DeGuzman earned her opportunity through consistent performances across multiple FTF Canada events, including the Edmonton Summer Combine 2025, Calgary Winter Combine 2024, and Calgary Winter Combine 2023. These events provided direct exposure to University of Alberta women’s soccer staff, who were in attendance identifying top talent.
DeGuzman demonstrated her ability to compete against strong players in her class, showcasing her technical quality, consistency, and impact in match play. Her performances led to direct recruitment interest from Alberta, ultimately securing her commitment. She was also recognized nationally with a #109 ranking in the 2026 Grad Class.
Her commitment to the University of Alberta marks the next step in both her academic and athletic career, where she will compete in U SPORTS within Canada West, one of the top conferences in the country.
