FTF Canada continues to create strong pathways into U SPORTS, as Combine alumni Jessy Lord has officially committed to Dalhousie University and the Dalhousie Tigers men’s soccer program.
A product of Suburban FC, Lord earned his opportunity through consistent high-level performances across multiple FTF Canada events, including the Halifax Summer Combine 2025, Halifax Winter Combine 2024, and Halifax Summer Combine 2024. These events provided repeated exposure to Dalhousie University men’s soccer staff, who were in attendance identifying top talent within the Atlantic region.
Across each event, Lord demonstrated his ability to compete at a high level, showcasing his technical quality, work rate, and consistency in match play. His performances against strong competition allowed him to build recognition over time, with his development and impact becoming increasingly evident across multiple combine environments.
The consistency he displayed throughout the FTF Halifax Combine Series played a key role in his recruitment process, as attending coaches were able to evaluate him across multiple events rather than a single appearance. This sustained exposure ultimately led to direct recruitment interest from Dalhousie University, securing his commitment.
Lord’s performances were also recognized nationally, as he was recently ranked #99 in the 2026 Grad Class, highlighting his standing among top prospects in his cohort.
His commitment to Dalhousie University marks the next step in both his academic and athletic career, where he will compete in U SPORTS within Atlantic University Sport (AUS).
