Saskatoon Girls Summer Combine 2026

FTF brought elite talent together at the Saskatoon Regional Combine, hosted at Cherry Insurance Field from Friday, June 27th to Sunday, June 28th – and the weekend delivered nonstop energy from start to finish! Day one put players through their paces with a full testing circuit: the 40-yard dash, 5-10-5 agility drill and vertical jump, setting the benchmark for what each athlete brings to the pitch. Day two shifted into live competition, with players taking the field under the watch of college coaches from across North America. Every touch, run, and tackle became a chance to stand out – both for coaches on-site and those tuning in via livestream. It was a weekend packed with standout performances, and here are the top performers we’re excited to spotlight:

Overall MVP – Quinn Lavoie | AK Academy | 2029 Grad

Lavoie is an elite attacking prospect who creates plenty of chances for herself or her teammates. The winger is a defender’s worst nightmare as she can threaten the space in behind with her speed, or can glide past defenders with the ball at her feet in 1v1 duels. Lavoie wants to get downhill as fast as possible to drive the defensive line back. She feels comfortable on both feet to either get a shot off or pick out a dangerous cross.

Goalkeeper MVP – Rohm Beenke | Saskatchewan Excel | 2028 Grad

Beenke is a commanding goalkeeper who dominates the space in her 18-yard box. Constantly communicating, Beenke organizes her teammates in front of her to ensure defensive stability. She is comfortable with the ball at her feet, and can distribute beyond the line of pressure from the opponent. Beenke shines brightest with her shot stopping ability, rarely offering a second chace for the other team.

Defender MVP – Charlotte Lepp | West Ottawa SC | 2028 Grad

Lepp is a steady, unflappable defender who can match up against any kind of attacker and come out the victor. She has the uncanny ability to create calm out of chaos, as nothing seems to phase her, regardless of the pressure from the other team. Lepp is strong, has pace, and reads the game very well to stop attacks through tackles or interceptions. In possession, she is able to find forward outlets by skipping oncoming pressure.

Midfielder MVP – Morgan Popowych | Ottawa City SC | 2028 Grad

Popowych is an exciting central midfield prospect who impacts the game equally in and out of possession. She reads the game at a very high level, as she is always in a potion to receive a pass from a teammate, or to break up the play from the other team with a tackle or interception. Popowych is the pendulum that keeps her team ticking, as she controls the tempo of the match finding the right moments to break lines centrally.

Attacker MVP – Tia Kaczmarek | Calgary Blizzard SC | 2029 Grad

Kaczmarek is a dynamic winger who excels in 1v1 situations. She constantly looks to find space to isolate defenders, so she can bring them into her world and run at them with the ball. Kaczmarek glides effortlessly past defenders, who can attack centrally, connecting with her teammates or get a shot off. She is also comfortable going down the line to get a cross in for a teammate with either her left or right foot.

Young Player MVP – Logan Rackham | Calgary Blizzard SC | 2029 Grad

Rackham is an all-action midfielder who can both physically and technically dominate her opponents. In possession, she is able to sit and anchor a midfield as a central defensive midfielder, or she can impact the game in higher positions, popping in between the lines to run and drive at the defenders. Out of possession, Rackham doesn’t lose a tackle and constantly wins the ball back for her team to start the attack again.
