The FTF Top 60 Showcase brought the biggest show of the summer to Montreal on July 23rd–24th – the best players selected from across the country, stepping onto the pitch for the biggest moment of their season. With some of the top coaches from Canada and the U.S. in attendance, this was a true once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. It was the perfect finale to a summer full of talent, and we’re proud to spotlight the top performers from the showcase below:
Overall MVP – Armand Kadiamba | CDM | Iowa Western | 2027 Grad
Armand Kadiamba is a complete defensive midfielder who brings a mature and composed presence to the center of the pitch. Calm in possession, he consistently makes the right decisions under pressure and helps control the rhythm of the game. His ability to cover large amounts of ground allows him to impact both sides of the ball, winning back possession while also contributing to the buildup. Playing with the experience and awareness of an older player, Kadiamba is a reliable midfield anchor who brings balance and stability to any team.
Goalkeeper MVP – Jeremy Sanon | GK | CS Saint Laurent | 2027 Grad
Jeremy Sanon is a standout goalkeeper who possesses immense shot-stopping ability and consistently makes game-changing saves when his team needs him most. His quick reactions, strong positioning, and composure in high-pressure moments make him a difficult goalkeeper to beat. Beyond his abilities in goal, Sanon’s distribution is second to none, allowing him to act as an extra player in buildup and start attacks with precision. His combination of elite shot-stopping, confidence with the ball, and modern goalkeeping qualities make him a top prospect in the 2027 class.
Defender MVP – Quelou Honore Ayemi | LB | Iowa Western | 2027 Grad
Quelou Honore Ayemi is a high-level fullback with the tools and mentality to develop into a future professional player. He is constantly looking to join the attack, providing width and an attacking threat from the left side while showing the athleticism to impact games in the final third. Defensively, Ayemi is an excellent 1v1 defender who uses his speed, timing, and physical ability to shut down opposing attackers. His combination of attacking ambition, defensive reliability, and athletic profile makes him a standout fullback in the 2027 class.
Midfielder MVP – Michael Ampofo | CM | CS Saint Laurent | 2027 Grad
Michael Ampofo is a commanding central midfielder who is constantly looking to dictate the flow of the game from the middle of the pitch. He combines composure in possession with a strong defensive presence, breaking up play and winning back possession for his team. Ampofo reads the game well, allowing him to disrupt opponents while quickly transitioning his team into attack. His ability to control the tempo and impact both sides of the ball makes him a valuable midfielder in the 2027 class.
Attacker MVP – David Amot | LW | OSU | 2027 Grad
David Amot is a silky winger who excels in one-on-one situations and possesses the ability to change the game in an instant. With a great change of pace and quick acceleration, he is extremely dangerous when isolated against defenders. His confidence on the ball, creativity, and ability to attack space make him a constant threat in wide areas. Amot’s combination of flair, explosiveness, and attacking instincts make him an exciting winger to watch in the 2027 class.
