My name is Benjamin Collins, I am a goalkeeper and captain for the Montreal Impact 2002 age category and also the Canadian U17 National Team. I grew up in Ottawa, Canada, but moved to Montreal at 12 years old to play for the Impact Academy. I have worked my way up from U12 to now U19, captaining the team for all years. With the National Team, I have attended all of the U17 camps, including qualifying for the U17 World Cup at CONCACAF Championship. Following that I captained the Canadian Team at the 2019 World Cup in Brazil. The college route is extremely attractive for me because I pride myself in excelling both on the field as a footballer, but also academically. At the right school and program, I know I will be able to excel in both domains.
