My name is Joseff Neher, I am a goalkeeper currently a free agent who most recently played for OSU’s Force Academy White 03. I was planning on finding a new team, but when the pandemic hit many things fell through. I decided that this last year training with my gk trainer and by myself was best for me and it worked in my favour as I improved immensely as a player during this last year. I grew up in Brampton, Ontario for the majority of my life playing for Brampton Blast Blue 03 ( 2017-2018 ) and Croatia Norval Soccer Club 03 Boys ( 2018-2019 ) until I moved to Ottawa in 2019. I am a self-driven athlete who has an incredible work ethic. Throughout my journey in soccer, there has been many highs and lows and I have used that as my advantage to learn, reflect, and better myself. I hold myself to high a standard on and off the pitch. Whether that be performing well in school, staying consistent in the gym, keeping my confidence high. I strive in all aspects of a student-athlete, as well as being an underdog in the sport I always have a relentless want to win and will lead anytime to victory. I know how it feels to win big, but also how to take big losses. I believe even though I may not be the most recognized keeper I do what others aren’t willing to do. I push myself to my limits and I boost the morale of others around me being on or off the pitch. I believe playing at the university level in soccer is best for me as it allows me to display both my academic and athletic talents. As well, I know that as a player each day I improve and so when you think I’m at my peak I only go higher. There is no limit to me and if you need a keeper who can not only perform but also be the leader needed on and off the pitch, I am your man.
