My name is Kyla Mort and I have been playing competitive soccer as a Right-Winger and Striker for 9 years. Along with my love for the sport, I enjoy spending time outside and with friends and family. I started my soccer career at the age of 8 and played on a Langley Football Club team. In 2015, I then advanced to a year older U13 Fraser Valley Metro team. After coming back from injury, I played for the 03 Fraser Valley Metro team in 2017, where the team had many successes. We won the Surrey Mayor’s Cup in 2018, and we also placed second in Provincial A Cup Championships in both 2018 and 2019. Along with Provincials, we won first place at the Coastal Cup Championships – where I scored the winning goal. Recently in the fall of 2019, I joined the 03 girls Coastal FC Premier team. I can’t wait to continue to make fantastic memories both on and off the field with my teammates and coaches. In the years to come, I am incredibly excited to further develop my skills and experience in soccer!
