FTF Canada continues to create strong pathways into U SPORTS, as Combine alumni Kailena Allen has officially committed to Bishop’s University and the Bishop’s Gaiters women’s soccer program.
A product of Ottawa South United, Allen earned her opportunity through her performance at the FTF Ottawa Winter Combine 2025, where Bishop’s University women’s soccer staff were in attendance identifying talent. Competing against a strong group of players, Allen demonstrated her ability to perform consistently and make an impact in key moments.
Her performance at the Ottawa Winter Combine 2025 highlighted her technical quality, decision-making, and presence on the field, which ultimately led to direct recruitment interest from Bishop’s. The ability to showcase her qualities in front of attending university coaches played a key role in securing her commitment.
Allen’s pathway reflects the value of the FTF Combine platform, where players are placed in competitive environments with direct access to U SPORTS programs actively recruiting. Through this exposure, she was able to convert her performance into a next-level opportunity.
Her commitment to Bishop’s University marks the next step in both her academic and athletic career, where she will compete in U SPORTS within the Réseau du sport étudiant du Québec (RSEQ), a conference known for its competitive university soccer environment.
