FTF Canada continues to expand international pathways for Canadian players, as alumni Rowan Zersch has earned a professional opportunity with Croatian club HNK Gorica.
A product of UMSC, Zersch earned his opportunity through his participation in the Euro ID Ottawa 2025, where he was able to showcase his abilities in front of international scouts and clubs.
Competing in a high-performance environment, Zersch demonstrated the qualities required to transition to the professional level. His performances at the event led to direct interest from HNK Gorica, a club competing in the Hrvatska Nogometna Liga, Croatia’s top professional division.
His progression highlights the impact of FTF Canada’s Euro ID platform, which is designed to connect Canadian players with opportunities in Europe. Through direct exposure to international clubs, players are evaluated in environments that mirror the demands of the professional game.
