FTF Canada continues to create pathways across all levels of collegiate soccer, as Combine alumni Sohaib El-Hayouni has officially committed to Keyano College and the Keyano Huskies men’s soccer program.
A product of Fort McMurray Fury, El-Hayouni earned his opportunity through participation in multiple FTF Canada events, including the Edmonton Summer Combine 2022 and Calgary Winter Combine 2024, where he was able to showcase his abilities in front of attending programs.
El-Hayouni’s performances across these events demonstrated his growth, consistency, and ability to compete in high-level environments. His development through the FTF platform ultimately led to his recruitment by Keyano College.
His commitment marks the next step in both his academic and athletic career, where he will compete in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) within the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC), a competitive environment that continues to develop strong collegiate players.
El-Hayouni’s pathway highlights the impact of FTF Canada’s regional and national event platform. Through events such as the Edmonton Summer Combine and Calgary Winter Combine, players are given opportunities to showcase their talent and connect with programs at the next level.
