FTF Canada continues to create strong pathways within U SPORTS, as Combine alumni Stefan Oroz has officially committed to the University of Guelph and the Guelph Gryphons men’s soccer program.
A product of NT Soccer Club, Oroz earned his opportunity through consistent performances across multiple FTF Canada events, including the FTF x TFC All-Star 2024, Toronto Summer Combine 2024, and Toronto Summer Combine 2023. These events provided valuable exposure to University of Guelph staff, who were in attendance identifying top talent.
Oroz demonstrated his ability to compete at a high level against strong opposition, showcasing his technical quality, work rate, and consistency across each environment. His performances led to direct recruitment interest from Guelph, ultimately securing his commitment to the program.
His commitment to the University of Guelph marks the next step in both his academic and athletic career, where he will compete in U SPORTS within the Ontario University Athletics (OUA) conference, one of the most competitive university soccer environments in Canada.
Oroz’s pathway highlights the strength of the FTF Canada platform. Through events such as the FTF x TFC All-Star Game and Toronto Summer Combine, players are provided with direct exposure to attending university programs and the opportunity to convert strong performances into next-level opportunities.
