FTF Canada continues to create elite NCAA Division I pathways, as alumni Stefania D’Angelo has officially committed to Syracuse University and the Syracuse Orange women’s soccer program.
A product of Woodbridge SC, D’Angelo earned her opportunity through a standout performance at the FTF x SA All-Star 2025, where Syracuse University staff were in attendance identifying top Canadian talent.
Competing in a high-performance showcase environment, D’Angelo demonstrated her ability to perform against elite players in her class. Her technical quality, composure, and impact in match play led to direct recruitment interest from Syracuse, ultimately securing her commitment. She was also recognized nationally with a #14 ranking in the 2027 Grad Class, solidifying her position as one of the top prospects in the country.
Her commitment to Syracuse University marks the next step in both her academic and athletic career, where she will compete in NCAA Division I within the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), one of the top conferences in collegiate soccer.
D’Angelo’s pathway highlights the strength of the FTF Canada platform. Through premier events such as the FTF x SA All-Star Game, players are provided with direct exposure to top NCAA programs and the opportunity to convert standout performances into next-level opportunities.
