FTF Canada Top U17 (2009) Girls Teams in Canada – June 2026

The U17 (2009) girls age group continues to showcase some of the strongest talent and most competitive teams in Canadian youth soccer. Across the country, clubs are producing high-level players while competing in elite leagues such as the APDL, BCSPL, PLSJQ, OPDL, and provincial high-performance environments. Several teams have put together dominant undefeated campaigns, while others have proven themselves against some of the toughest competition in the nation. These rankings recognize the top U17 girls teams in Canada based on their performances, results, and overall impact during the 2026 season.

1. Calgary Foothills (APDL)

Record: 9-0-0

Calgary Foothills has been nearly flawless throughout the 2026 season, posting a perfect record through nine matches. The Alberta powerhouse continues to set the standard for player development while consistently producing results against top competition. Their combination of defensive organization, technical quality, and attacking depth has made them one of the most dominant teams in the country.

2. Surrey United (BCSPL)

Record: 13-6-4

Surrey United remains one of the premier girls programs in British Columbia and continues to excel in the highly competitive BCSPL. Their ability to consistently earn results against elite opposition has showcased the depth and quality throughout the squad. Surrey’s strong tradition of developing top-level players remains evident in another successful campaign.

3. Halifax County AAA Girls

Record: 9-0-0

Halifax County has emerged as one of Atlantic Canada’s top programs, opening the season with an impressive undefeated record. Their ability to control matches and consistently secure victories has made them one of the most successful U17 teams in the nation. The club continues to demonstrate the growing strength of girls soccer in Atlantic Canada.

4. Burnaby FC (BCSPL)

Record: 19-2-2

Burnaby FC has put together one of the most impressive resumes in the country, recording nineteen victories while competing in one of Canada’s toughest leagues. Their consistency, depth, and ability to perform in high-pressure matches have made them one of British Columbia’s elite teams. Few clubs can match the level of success Burnaby has achieved this season.

5. AS Laval (PLSJQ)

Record: 7-0-0

AS Laval has been dominant within Quebec competition, maintaining a perfect record through seven matches. The club continues to establish itself as one of the province’s premier development programs, producing talented players while achieving excellent results. Their unbeaten season places them among Canada’s top U17 girls teams.

6. Rush Canada (OPDL)

Record: 0-0-0 (FTF Canada Spring Showdown Champions)

Although league play has yet to begin, Rush Canada earns a spot in the rankings following an outstanding performance at the FTF Canada Spring Showdown. Capturing the tournament title against elite competition showcased the group’s talent, depth, and winning mentality. Their success at one of Canada’s premier showcase events signals that they will be a team to watch throughout the remainder of the season.

7. Coquitlam Metro Ford (BCSPL)

Record: 18-3-2

Coquitlam Metro Ford has once again demonstrated why it remains one of Western Canada’s most respected soccer clubs. Winning eighteen matches while competing in the BCSPL is a testament to the team’s quality and consistency. Their strong performances throughout the season have firmly positioned them among the nation’s elite U17 sides.

8. CS St. Hubert

Record: 5-2-1

CS St. Hubert continues to be one of Quebec’s strongest girls programs, earning impressive results against quality opposition. The club’s disciplined approach and strong developmental structure have helped produce another successful season. Their ability to consistently compete with the province’s top teams keeps them firmly in the national conversation

9. Saskatoon Alliance Black (PSL)

Record: 3-0-1

Saskatoon Alliance Black rounds out the Top 10 after an excellent start to the season. The Saskatchewan-based side has remained difficult to beat while demonstrating strong organization and team chemistry. Their positive results continue to highlight the growing strength of girls soccer within the province and their emergence as one of Western Canada’s top programs.

10. 1v1 Futbol Dreams (PR1)

Record: 7-0-0

1v1 Futbol Dreams has enjoyed a remarkable season, remaining undefeated and showcasing one of the most exciting groups in the country. Their ability to consistently find results through disciplined team play and attacking creativity has helped establish them as a national contender. The program continues to gain recognition for its success and player development.
