Toronto Girls Summer Combine 2026 Team 1-5

The FTF Toronto Regional Combine made its mark at Creditview Sandalwood Park on Monday, June 29th to Wednesday, July 1st — and as the biggest stop on our summer combine series, it brought an even bigger stage for players to shine. The action opened with a full testing session, where athletes ran through the 40-yard dash, 5-10-5 agility drill and vertical jump, laying the groundwork for what was to come. From there, competition took over, with players battling it out in matchups scouted by college coaches from across North America. With a bigger field of talent and even more eyes watching — both in person and via livestream — every play carried extra weight. It was a high-energy showcase from start to finish, and we’re excited to highlight the top performers below

Overall MVP – Blake Shepherd | CAM | North Mississauga SC & NDC | 2030

Having won the Young Player MVP award at this event in 2025, Blake returned and impressed yet again to win the Overall MVP in the 2026 Toronto Girls Combine. Blake has an excellent technical foundation with both feet. She has a great feel for the ball whether it’s through her dribbling, passing, or ball striking. What sets Blake apart is the way she understands the game and the creative solutions she comes up with to the problems she faces on the pitch. Despite being one of the youngest players at the combine, Blake proved she is one to keep an eye on.

Goalkeeper MVP – Janelle Lovisa | GK | Juventus Academy Glen Shields | 2028

Janelle stood out among the goalkeepers in this edition of the combine. She is a presence inside her box, often ensuring that anything within the six yard box is hers. Janelle was often brave to come off her line in 1v1 situations and also displayed excellent shot stopping ability throughout the two days of play.

Defender MVP – Kayla Olowolafe | RB | Juventus Academy Glen Shields | 2028

Kayla excelled at fullback over the two days of the combine. Her ability to play on both the left and right sides showcased her versatility. Her great reading of the game combined with her high level athleticism made her a force to be reckoned with in 1v1 situations. Her technical ability on the ball also stood out and allowed her to contribute to her team when attacking.

Midfielder MVP – Gabriella Ventura | CAM | North Mississauga SC | 2029

Gabriella displayed a high level of skill throughout her time at the combine. Her technical ability put her a level above the rest in the middle of the park. Extremely comfortable on the ball, her confidence showed in her willingness to take risks to provide for her teammates or to create an opportunity for herself. Gabriella paired her ability on the ball with a great mindset out of possession, showing she can help her team both in and out of possession.

Attacker MVP – Talia Masotti | ST | Liverpool Michigan Academy | 2028

Travelling in from the United States for the event, Talia put in a strong showing throughout the combine. Her excellent ball striking made her stand out instantly, marking her as a threat from anywhere within shooting distance. Her pace and strength also added to her threat as both a chance creator and a goalscorer, cementing her as a force to be reckoned with.

Young Player MVP – Aaliyah Milne | ST | Cherry Beach SC | 2030

One of the youngest players at the event, Aaliyah made her mark by finishing as one of the top goalscorers of the combine. Her ball striking and dribbling were a constant point of worry for opposition defenders. Her pace and trickery made her a nightmare to defend and assured her spot as a player to watch in the coming years.
