The FTF Toronto Regional Combine made its mark at Creditview Sandalwood Park on Tuesday, July 14th to Thursday, July 16th — and as the biggest stop on our summer combine series, it brought an even bigger stage for players to shine. The action opened with a full testing session, where athletes ran through the 40-yard dash, 5-10-5 agility drill and vertical jump, laying the groundwork for what was to come. From there, competition took over, with players battling it out in matchups scouted by college coaches from across North America. With a bigger field of talent and even more eyes watching — both in person and via livestream — every play carried extra weight. It was a high-energy showcase from start to finish, and we’re excited to highlight the top performers below:
Overall MVP – Jules Monde | ST | Tecumseh United | 2028 Grad
A powerful, athletic striker who excels at stretching back lines with his pace and intelligent movement. Jules is a constant threat running in behind defenders, using his strength and speed to create scoring opportunities. His physical presence and direct attacking style make him a difficult matchup, while his ability to get into dangerous areas consistently puts opposing defenses under pressure.
Goalkeeper MVP – Gianluca RIVERO Micheletti | GK | Vaughan SC | 2028 Grad
A composed goalkeeper with excellent shot-stopping ability and the confidence to build play from the back. Gianluca is comfortable with the ball at his feet, consistently making smart decisions in possession while remaining reliable between the posts. His calm presence, strong distribution, and ability to make key saves make him a well-rounded goalkeeper with plenty of potential.
Defender MVP – Eoin Fraelic | LB | WNY Flash | 2028 Grad
An elite attacking wingback with the engine to get up and down the flank for the full 90 minutes. Eoin consistently impacts both ends of the pitch, providing width and quality in the attack while recovering quickly to fulfill his defensive responsibilities. His athleticism, work rate, and ability to influence the game in transition make him a dynamic presence on the left side.
Midfielder MVP – Brunson Kennedy | CM | North Mississauga | 2028 Grad
A hardworking central midfielder who serves as the engine of his team. Brunson covers plenty of ground, breaks up opposition attacks with consistent defensive work, and wins possession in key areas of the pitch. His relentless work rate, tactical awareness, and ability to keep the midfield organized make him a vital presence on both sides of the ball.
Attacker MVP – Jayden Reid | LW | Bryst FA | 2028 Grad
A direct, powerful winger who is a constant threat in one-on-one situations. Jayden combines excellent pace with a strong, physical frame, allowing him to overpower defenders and drive into dangerous attacking areas. His explosive running, athleticism, and willingness to attack defenders make him a dangerous weapon in transition and a consistent threat down the flank.
Young Player MVP – Tomi Busari | LW | Veritas FC | 2029 Grad
A highly promising winger who possesses all the tools to become a top prospect in the 2029 grad class. Tomi combines athleticism, technical ability, and attacking instincts to consistently impact the game from wide areas. His ability to take on defenders, create opportunities, and influence matches makes him an exciting player to watch as he continues to develop.
