Montreal Boys Combine 2025

The FTF Montreal Summer Combine, held at Rosanne Laflamme Center from July 7th to 9th, was a vibrant showcase of talent! The three-day event kicked off with testing on Day 1, featuring the 40-yard dash, 5-10-5 agility test, fitness assessment, and vertical jump. Days 2 and 3 focused on gameplay, offering players the opportunity to be coached by college coaches from across North America. These competitive matches allowed participants to impress the attending coaches, both in person and via live stream. The combine was an exciting display of skill, and we are eager to highlight the top performers:

Overall MVP – Delven-Kayle Charles | CB | BRAVES D’AHUNTSIC | Grad Year 2026

Delven-Kayle Charles was the Overall MVP at the Montreal Summer Combine. This composed centre-back impressed with her technical skill on the ball, coupled with sharp passing and excellent vision. Her anticipation in reading attacking plays and ability to screen passes and make interceptions were her most notable features. With a commanding physical presence, Delven plays with impressive strength in the tackle. His standout left foot might be the key to advancing his profile further

Goalkeeper MVP – Sebastian Vinatea Melendez | GK | CS SAINT HUBERT | Grad Year 2021

Sebastian Vinatea Melendez stood out as the top goalkeeper at our Montreal Summer Combine, showcasing exceptional shot-stopping ability, composure under pressure, and strong distribution skills. His command of the box and quick reflexes made him a standout performer, earning him the well-deserved title of GK MVP. With her talent and work ethic, Sebastian has all the qualities needed to succeed.

Goalkeeper MVP – Jeremy Sanon | GK | LAKESHORE SC | Grad Year 2025

Jeremy Sanon delivered a commanding performance throughout the Montreal Summer Combine, distinguishing himself with his anticipation, footwork, and vocal leadership. He consistently neutralized threats thanks to his sharp reading of the play and timely interventions, especially in high-pressure moments. His calm decision-making and ability to initiate counterattacks with precise long balls brought confidence to his team. Jeremy’s consistency, focus, and presence between the posts earned him the title of GK MVP, a recognition that reflects both his current level and his potential for higher-level success.

Defender MVP – Isaiah Byer | CB| CS SAINT LAURENT | Grad Year 2026

Isaiah Byer was a defensive force at our Montreal Summer Combine, showcasing his top athleticism, composure, and tactical intelligence. His ability to dribble out of the back and break lines with precision made him a game-changer, while his sharp decision-making ensured he dictated the tempo in possession. Whether locking down opponents as a center-back or controlling the flanks as a fullback, Isaiah’s impact was undeniable. On top of that, his 2 assists from long passes make his MVP title well-earned

Midfielder MVP – Zayd El Majidi | LW | CS RDP | Grad Year 2023

Zayd El Majidi dominated the midfield at our Montreal Summer Combine, showcasing exceptional vision, technical ability, and composure on the ball. His ability to control the tempo, break lines with precise through ball passing, and dictate play in possession made him a standout performer. Whether distributing under pressure or driving forward with confidence, Zayd’s skill and presence set him apart, earning him the title of MID MVP

Attacker MVP – Antony Alexis | ST | Club Team | Grad Year 2026

Antony Alexis was an attacking standout at our Montreal Summer Combine, displaying creativity, technical skill, and a relentless drive in the final third. Whether operating as a central attacking midfielder or a wide midfielder, Antony’s ability to take on defenders, create scoring opportunities, and make an impact in transition was second to none. His dynamic playmaking and offensive presence earned him the well-deserved title of FWD MVP.

Young Player MVP – Karim Sbeih | CM | AS BLAINVILLE | Grad Year 2027

Karim Sbeih made a strong impression in the midfield at our Montreal Summer Combine, standing out with his high work rate, tactical intelligence, and sharp ball recovery. His ability to read the game, intercept passes, and quickly transition play from defense to attack gave his team a constant edge. Calm under pressure and always available to support teammates, Karim displayed maturity well beyond his years. His enormous potential is still far from being fully reached, making his performances even more exciting to watch. His impact throughout the event earned him the well-deserved title of YP MVP.

Young Player MVP – Idriss Imane Ouattara | ST | CS LASALLE | Grad Year 2026

Idriss Imane Ouattara was an attacking standout at our Montreal Summer Combine, impressing with his explosive acceleration, intelligent movement off the ball, and clinical finishing. Whether making runs in behind or holding up play to bring teammates into the action, Idriss consistently put opposing defenses under pressure. His imposing physical presence gives him a clear edge in duels and will undoubtedly carry him to the highest levels of the game. It’s this combination of power and skill that makes his potential enormous. His outstanding performances earned him the well-deserved title of YP MVP
