FTF Canada Top U16/ 2009 Boys Teams in Canada (August 2025)

As of August 2025, FTF Canada’s “The Playbook” spotlighted the top-performing U‑16 boys teams (born in 2009) across the country. These rankings reflect exceptional results in league and showcase competitions throughout August, and serve as a benchmark heading into the summer showcase season.

  1. Woodbridge SC OPDL u16 Boys

Woodbridge SC OPDL U16 Boys have been a dominant force this season, maintaining a perfect 11-0-0 record and establishing themselves as one of the top sides in the province. Their blend of defensive discipline and attacking efficiency was evident in a commanding 4-0 win over Pickering FC and a tightly contested 2-1 victory against a strong Ottawa South United team. With a cohesive unit that consistently delivers results, Woodbridge has set the standard in the U16 OPDL division. Their unbeaten run reflects not only talent but also a high level of tactical execution and team chemistry.
