FTF Canada continues to demonstrate its impact on player pathways, as Combine alumni Rylie Anselmini has officially committed to Trinity Western University (TWU) and the TWU Spartans women’s soccer program.
A product of Guelph Soccer, Anselmini has been a consistent standout within the FTF ecosystem. Her journey through multiple FTF events—including the Top 60 2025, FTF x SA All-Star 2025, Toronto Summer Combine 2024, and Toronto Winter Combine 2024—placed her directly in front of university programs actively recruiting top Canadian talent. Notably, Trinity Western University staff were in attendance at these events, providing a key opportunity for identification and evaluation.
Through her performances across these showcases, Anselmini distinguished herself as one of the top prospects in her class. Her efforts were further recognized with a #12 national ranking in the 2027 Grad Class, solidifying her status as an elite-level player within Canada’s youth landscape.
Her commitment to Trinity Western University marks the next step in both her academic and athletic career, where she will compete in U SPORTS within the Canada West conference, one of the most competitive environments in Canadian university soccer.
