FTF Canada continues to strengthen pathways into U SPORTS, as Combine alumni Raegan Toye has officially committed to MacEwan University and the MacEwan Griffins women’s soccer program.
A product of Calgary Blizzard Soccer Club, Toye earned her opportunity through consistent high-level performances across multiple FTF Canada events, including the Top 60 2024, FTF x SA All-Star 2024, Top 60 2023, Edmonton Summer Combine 2024, Calgary Winter Combine 2023, and Edmonton Summer Combine 2023. These events provided direct exposure to MacEwan University staff, who were in attendance evaluating talent across several environments.
Toye’s ability to perform and stand out across multiple showcases played a key role in her recruitment. Competing against top players in her class, she demonstrated strong technical quality, consistency, and competitiveness. Her performances were further recognized with a #41 national ranking in the 2026 Grad Class, highlighting her status as a top prospect.
Her commitment to MacEwan University marks the next step in both her academic and athletic career, where she will compete in U SPORTS within the Canada West conference, one of the premier university soccer conferences in Canada.
Toye’s pathway reflects the impact of FTF Canada’s event platform. Through repeated exposure at events attended by university programs, players are able to build visibility, establish relationships, and convert performances into next-level opportunities.
