I am someone who sets high standards for myself on and off the field. I have learned that practice does not make perfect, but practice makes better. This is my philosophy with my academics and in playing soccer – there is always room to improve and I am willing to put in the work. I’ve been playing competitive soccer with the Bradford Eagles for eight years. My strengths are my speed, power and versatility – I can play wing, fullback and striker. I have a high soccer acumen because I can see the whole field and consider myself a play maker on the wing, resulting in me leading the Bradford Eagles in assists for the last three seasons. Highlights of my soccer career with the Bradford Eagles include the 2020 Provincial Indoor Soccer League Champions, the 2019 EDP Showcase Champions and the 2019 Umbro Champions. In high school, I was named captain of the 2019 season and earned MVP honours as the top scorer with 14 goals and 9 assists. I was also captain of the volleyball team and competed at the regional level for track and field. Academics are very important to me, and I do well at managing my time between school and soccer training. I have over a 90% average that I will strive to maintain in my final high school year. My goal is to play soccer at the university level, understanding the importance of academics, sport, teamwork and family.
