FTF Canada continues to expand pathways into the NCAA, as Combine alumni Aniah Joyce has officially committed to St. Leo University and the Saint Leo Lions women’s soccer program.
A product of Pickering FC, Joyce earned her opportunity through consistent performances across multiple FTF Canada events, including the Toronto Summer Combine 2025, Toronto Winter Combine 2025, Toronto Summer Combine 2024, and Toronto Winter Combine 2024. These events provided direct exposure to St. Leo University staff, who were in attendance identifying top Canadian talent.
Joyce’s ability to perform and stand out across multiple showcases played a key role in her recruitment. Competing against strong competition, she demonstrated technical ability, consistency, and a high level of competitiveness. Her performances led to direct interest from St. Leo University, ultimately securing her commitment. She was also recognized nationally with a #125 ranking in the 2026 Grad Class, highlighting her development within the Canadian player pool.
Her commitment to St. Leo University marks the next step in both her academic and athletic career, where she will compete in NCAA Division II within the Sunshine State Conference, one of the top conferences in NCAA Division II soccer.
Joyce’s pathway highlights the strength of the FTF Canada platform. Through repeated exposure at key events such as the Toronto Summer Combine and Toronto Winter Combine, players are able to build visibility and convert performances into opportunities at the collegiate level.
FTF Canada looks forward to following Aniah Joyce’s continued development and success at St. Leo University.
