FTF Alumni Alert: Ashlyn Doyle Commits to Simon Fraser University

FTF Canada continues to build elite pathways into the NCAA, as Combine alumni Ashlyn Doyle has officially committed to Simon Fraser University and the SFU women’s soccer program.

A product of Markham SC, Doyle earned her opportunity through consistent high-level performances across multiple FTF Canada events, including the Top 60 2025, FTF x SA All-Star 2025, Toronto Summer Combine 2025, Montreal Summer Combine 2025, Toronto Winter Combine 2025, Ottawa Winter Combine 2025, and Toronto Winter Combine 2024. These events provided direct exposure to Simon Fraser University staff, who were in attendance identifying top Canadian talent.

Doyle’s ability to perform and stand out across multiple showcase environments played a key role in her recruitment. Competing against elite players in her class, she demonstrated strong technical ability, consistency, and a high level of competitiveness. Her performances led to direct interest from SFU, ultimately securing her commitment. She was also recognized nationally with a #24 ranking in the 2027 Grad Class, highlighting her status as one of the top prospects in the country.

Her commitment to Simon Fraser University marks the next step in both her academic and athletic career, where she will compete in NCAA Division II within the Great Northwest Athletic Conference (GNAC), a competitive environment for player development in the United States.

Doyle’s pathway highlights the strength of the FTF Canada platform. Through repeated exposure at premier events such as the Top 60 Showcase, FTF x SA All-Star Game, and regional combines across the country, players are able to build visibility and convert standout performances into next-level opportunities.

FTF Canada looks forward to following Ashlyn Doyle’s continued development and success at Simon Fraser University.
