FTF Canada continues to create direct professional pathways for Canadian players, as alumni Enrique Galeas has secured a professional opportunity with Norwegian club Bryne FK.
A product of Surrey FC, Galeas’ progression is another strong example of how FTF events provide meaningful exposure to international clubs. He participated in the Euro ID Vancouver 2025, where Bryne FK staff were in attendance specifically to identify talent within the Canadian market.
Galeas’ performance during the event proved impactful. Competing in a high-level environment against top players, he demonstrated the qualities required to attract attention from a professional European club. His ability to perform under pressure and showcase his skillset led to direct interest from Bryne FK, a club competing within the Norwegian professional system.
The Euro ID Vancouver Combine continues to be a key platform within FTF Canada’s international pathway, connecting players with clubs across Europe. By providing direct access to professional scouts and coaches, the event creates real opportunities for players to be evaluated and recruited.
Galeas’ opportunity reinforces FTF Canada’s mission of turning exposure into outcomes. Through participation in targeted events with attending clubs, players are able to bridge the gap between the Canadian development system and the European professional game.
Enrique Galeas now takes the next step in his career as he enters the professional environment with Bryne FK, with ambitions of competing at the highest levels of Norwegian football, including the Eliteserien.
FTF Canada looks forward to following his continued development as he advances his professional career in Europe.
