FTF Alumni Alert: Neko Michell Commits to University of Memphis

FTF Canada continues to create elite pathways into NCAA Division I, as Combine alumni Neko Michell has officially committed to the University of Memphis and the Memphis Tigers women’s soccer program.

A product of FC Regina Soccer, Michell has consistently showcased her quality across multiple FTF Canada events, including the Top 60 2025, FTF x SA All-Star 2025, Top 60 2024, Saskatoon Summer Combine 2025, Winnipeg Winter Combine 2024, and Saskatoon Summer Combine 2024. These events provided direct exposure to University of Memphis staff, who were in attendance identifying top Canadian talent.

Michell’s performances across these high-level environments demonstrated her ability to compete against the best players in her class. Her consistency, technical ability, and impact in match play led to direct recruitment interest from Memphis. She was also recognized nationally with a #9 ranking in the 2027 Grad Class, solidifying her position as one of the top prospects in the country.

Her commitment to the University of Memphis marks the next step in both her academic and athletic career, where she will compete in NCAA Division I within the American Athletic Conference, a highly competitive environment known for developing top-level players.

Michell’s pathway highlights the strength of the FTF Canada platform. Through repeated exposure at premier events such as the Top 60 Showcase, FTF x SA All-Star Game, and regional combines across Western Canada, players are able to gain visibility and convert standout performances into opportunities at the highest level.

FTF Canada looks forward to following Neko Michell’s continued development and success at the University of Memphis.
