FTF Canada is proud to highlight the continued rise of Clara Monck, whose development pathway showcases the impact of FTF Canada events in connecting top Canadian talent with elite academic and professional opportunities.
A standout player with Calgary Foothills, Monck elevated her profile through her participation in the FTF Top 60 Showcase 2023, where she competed against and alongside some of the top prospects in her class. Her performance at the event provided valuable exposure in front of university programs and national team environments.
Following her progression, Clara Monck committed in the summer of 2024 to Kent State University Women’s Soccer, competing in NCAA Division I within the Mid-American Conference. Her commitment reflects both her academic and athletic growth, supported by consistent performances in high-level environments.
In addition to her collegiate pathway, Monck has also taken important steps within the professional development stream. She travelled and competed with Calgary Wild FC, furthering her experience in a high-performance setting, and has since signed within their youth development program—an important milestone linking her to the professional game in Canada.
On the international stage, Clara Monck has represented the Canada U17 Women’s National Team, highlighting her status as one of the top young players in the country.
Clara Monck’s journey—from Calgary Foothills, to the FTF Top 60 Showcase, to Kent State University, Calgary Wild FC, and Canada Soccer—demonstrates the effectiveness of FTF Canada’s platform in providing exposure and creating real pathways for players to advance.
FTF Canada looks forward to following Clara’s continued success as she progresses through both the NCAA system and the Canadian national team pathway.
