The FTF Montreal Summer Combine, held at Complexe Sportif Lakeshore on July 20th-22nd was a vibrant showcase of talent! The three-day event kicked off with testing on Day 1, featuring the 40-yard dash, 5-10-5 agility test and vertical jump. Days 2 and 3 focused on gameplay, offering players the opportunity to be coached by college coaches from across North America. These competitive matches allowed participants to impress the coaches scouting, both in person and via live stream. The combine was an excellent display of skill, and we are excited to highlight the top performers:
Overall MVP – Nathaniel Dickson | RB | Lakeshore SC | 2027 Grad
Nathaniel Dickson is an energetic fullback who provides a constant outlet down the flank with his relentless work rate. Comfortable getting forward, he glides past defenders with ease, using his pace and ball control to create attacking opportunities from wide areas. His ability to make overlapping runs while recovering quickly in transition makes him an effective two-way defender. With his athleticism and attacking mindset, Dickson consistently impacts the game at both ends of the pitch.

Juliano Gallo is a reliable goalkeeper who stands out for his strong shot-stopping ability and composure under pressure. He consistently makes difficult saves while positioning himself well to deny scoring opportunities. Equally impressive with the ball at his feet, Gallo possesses excellent distribution, allowing him to quickly launch attacks and help his team build from the back. Juan Castellanos is a complete fullback who is equally effective providing width on the touchline or drifting into central areas to dictate the tempo of play. Comfortable in possession, he reads the game well and consistently makes intelligent decisions in both attacking and defensive phases. His technical quality and tactical awareness allow him to influence matches in multiple roles, making him a valuable asset in possession-based systems. Castellanos’ versatility and composure make him one of the more well-rounded fullbacks in the 2027 class.
Midfielder MVP – Christophe McKenna | CAM | CS Saint Laurent | 2027 Grad
Christophe McKenna is a classic old-school No. 10 who thrives in finding small pockets of space between the lines to dictate the attack. Calm and intelligent in possession, he consistently creates chances with his vision and technical quality. One of his biggest strengths is his timing, making late runs into the penalty area that often result in goals. McKenna’s creativity, movement, and eye for goal make him a constant threat in the final third.

Hadriel Bilombo-Bemba is a powerful striker who combines strength, pace, and clinical finishing to consistently trouble opposing defenses.
