GK MVP: Reese Maich is a goalkeeper who commands her 18-yard box and back line dominantly. From the first minute, she is vocal, constantly advising and encouraging her teammates. Fast reflexes and strong hands make her tough to get by in 1v1 situations and shots from open play. She is also brave in her goalkeeping, never afraid to come out of her goal to close down an oncoming opponent.
Defensive MVP: Tassia Curtis is an energetic left-back who is always active on both sides of the ball. Defensively, she is physical in her 1v1 battles and quick enough to compete with fast wingers. Offensively, she makes smart runs and shows confidence in her abilities, always willing to take a player on 1v1 and contribute to her team’s attacking play. Tassia is a very vocal player, always helping and encouraging her teammates.
Midfield MVP: Sydney Taylor is a smart midfielder with a high technical level. She is very composed on the ball, scanning constantly and looking to drive her team up the pitch. She uses her quick feet and agility well to dribble out of tight spaces and create something out of nothing. She is a creative passer who is always looking to get on the ball, both in the final third and in build-up.
Overall MVP: Norah Benson is a well-rounded midfielder who elevates her team’s level of play. Using her spatial awareness and technical ability, she is able to control and dictate her team’s play. She protects the ball well and is a strong dribbler when she chooses to drive with the ball. She is a midfielder who is not scared to get forward and contribute to the attack with creative passes and ball-striking.
Young Player MVP : Samantha Cordoso, though small in stature, is an impressive attacking player known for her fiery presence on the field. With remarkable creativity on the ball, she consistently dazzles with inventive plays and a sharp vision for goal. Her bravery shines through as she fearlessly engages in tackles, never shying away from the physical demands of the game.
Attacking MVP: Petra Bandula, a dynamic forward, excels at generating goal-scoring opportunities with her inventive runs and movements. Her creativity up top consistently disrupts defenders, keeping them on their toes. Petra’s strategic positioning and sharp instincts make her a constant threat in the attacking third.
