July has been a defining month for U16 girls soccer in Canada, with the country’s top programs proving their quality in league play, cup competitions, and showcase events. From Quebec’s PLSJQ, to Ontario’s OPDL, to Alberta’s APDL, and BC’s BCSPL, the level has never been higher. Here are the FTF Canada Top 10 U16 Girls Teams as of July 2025.

🥇 1. CS Trident (Quebec) – PLSJQ

Record: 10 Wins, 1 Loss, 2 Ties | 32 Points
The class of Quebec, CS Trident have set the pace in the PLSJQ with only one loss all season and a statement win over CS St-Hubert. A tactical, disciplined side that looks built for sustained success.

🥈 2. Markham SC (Ontario) – OPDL

Record: 6 Wins, 2 Ties, 0 Losses | +11 Goal Differential
Unbeaten in league play, Markham SC have established themselves as Ontario’s most consistent U16 team. Organized, efficient, and hard to break down, they are a true contender for provincial honours.

🥉 3. St. Albert Impact (Alberta) – APDL

Record: 15 Wins, 1 Loss, 2 Ties | +58 Goal Differential
Alberta’s top side continues to dominate, winning five straight since the last update. With firepower up front and depth across the field, St. Albert are a serious threat to anyone in Canada.

4. Woodbridge Strikers (Ontario) – OPDL

Record: 6 Wins, 1 Tie, 1 Loss | +16 Goal Differential
Woodbridge’s balance and attacking strength keep them among Ontario’s elite. A 3-3 draw with OSU showed their grit, and they’ll meet again in the OPDL Cup in one of the summer’s most anticipated matchups.

5. London TFC (Ontario) – OPDL

Record: 8 Wins, 1 Tie, 0 Losses | +40 Goal Differential
London TFC remain unbeaten in league play and have one of the highest goal differentials in the country. Despite a tough Cup loss to Woodbridge, their consistency secures them a top-five spot.

6. CS St-Hubert (Quebec) – PLSJQ

Record: 10 Wins, 2 Losses | 30 Points
A powerhouse in Pool A and second overall in Quebec, CS St-Hubert continue to prove themselves among Canada’s best. Their only setback came against top-ranked CS Trident, showing just how high their ceiling is.

7. Langley United (British Columbia) – BCSPL

Form: Provincial Cup Champions
Langley United rose to the occasion in the Provincial Cup, defeating Coquitlam Metro Ford in the final to claim the crown. A resilient side with a winning mentality, they are BC’s team to watch.

8. Burnaby FC (British Columbia) – BCSPL

Record: 8 Wins, 2 Losses | +13 Goal Differential
Burnaby FC put together a strong league campaign but stumbled in the Provincial Cup against North Vancouver. Still, their depth and consistency cement them as one of BC’s top programs.

Record: 12 Wins, 5 Losses, 1 Tie | +30 Goal Differential

The Rangers continue to be a force in Alberta with consistent results across the season. A tough 4-1 loss to Calgary Villains was a rare slip, but they remain one of the APDL’s most competitive sides.
