FTF Canada Top U15/2010 Girls Teams in Canada (August 2025)

August delivered the most exciting month yet in Canadian youth soccer, as the highly anticipated PDP Cup kicked off and brought the nation’s top U15 girls programs together. From Ontario to Alberta, from Quebec to British Columbia, the country’s elite faced off in a true test of talent, depth, and resilience. League dominance was put to the side as every match became a battle for national bragging rights, producing upsets, thrillers, and defining moments for Canada’s brightest 2010 squads.

FTF Canada is proud to spotlight the top U15 girls teams in the nation for August 2025 –  highlighting not only their league performances but also their impact on the biggest stage of the summer.

⚜️ 1. CS Saint-Laurent (Quebec) – PDP Champions
Record: PDP Cup Winners | Key Results: 2-1 win over Ottawa South United, tied St. Albert Impact, defeated Lakeshore in Final.

Saint-Laurent are officially Canada’s #1 U15 girls team, lifting the PDP Cup after a string of gritty performances. They opened the tournament with a breathtaking clash against Coquitlam Metro-Ford – widely called one of the most entertaining matches of the summer – before grinding out results in the knockout stages. A narrow 2-1 win over Ottawa South United and a hard-fought tie with St. Albert Impact showed their resilience, and they sealed the deal with a decisive victory over Lakeshore in the final. Champions, and deservedly so.

⚜️ 2. Lakeshore (Quebec) – PDP Finalists
Record: PDP Cup Runner-Up | Key Result: Defeated Calgary Blizzard 2-0 in group stage.
Lakeshore confirmed their place among Canada’s elite with a fantastic run to the PDP Cup Final. Their group stage win over powerhouse Calgary Blizzard was one of the standout results of the competition. Though they fell short in the final against Saint-Laurent, this team proved they have the consistency and quality to challenge any opponent in the country.

🏔️ 3. Calgary Blizzard (Alberta)
Record: PDP Cup 5th Place | Key Result: Defeated St. Albert Impact in PKs on Championship Day.
The July #1 ranked team met their toughest test yet in August. A 2-0 loss to Lakeshore in group play knocked Calgary out of title contention, but they responded well by taking down rivals St. Albert Impact on penalties in the “Battle of Alberta” for 5th place. They may not have left the tournament with silverware, but they remain one of the most feared and complete sides in the nation.

🔴 4. Ottawa South United (Ontario)
Record: PDP Cup 4th Place | Key Results: 5-0 win over CMFSC, 3-1 win over St. Albert Impact, only loss 1-2 vs Saint-Laurent.
OSU were one of the revelations of the PDP Cup, playing some of the sharpest attacking football in the competition. A stunning 5-0 dismantling of CMFSC and a 3-1 win over St. Albert Impact made them a serious contender. Their only blemish came against the eventual champions Saint-Laurent, losing a tight 1-2 battle. A bronze medal was captured in a narrow 1-0 win vs NVFC, but OSU’s stock has skyrocketed.

🇨🇦 5. Rush Academy (Ontario)
Record: OPDL | Key Results: Losses to Ottawa South United and North Toronto.
Once the nation’s #2, Rush has dropped down the rankings after a tough stretch in August. Losses to both Ottawa South United and North Toronto highlighted some cracks in their previously dominant form. Still, their league record remains strong, and their earlier season results against Oakville and LFC Mississauga keep them among Canada’s top five.

🟣 6. St. Albert Impact (Alberta)
Record: PDP Cup 6th Place | Key Result: Tied Saint-Laurent, lost to Calgary Blizzard in PKs.
St. Albert Impact came into the PDP with confidence and showed why they’re considered Alberta’s other powerhouse. They held champions Saint-Laurent to a draw in group play – a result that boosted their reputation – but fell just short vs Ottawa South United in the group stages and on Championship Day, losing in penalties to rivals Calgary Blizzard. A strong showing overall that proves they belong at the national level.

🌲 7. CMFSC (British Columbia)
Record: PDP Cup 7th Place | Key Results: Took early leads against both Saint-Laurent and St. Albert Impact but couldn’t hold on.
CMFSC had a frustrating PDP Cup, as they led in multiple games but couldn’t see out results. Most notably, they were in front against both Saint-Laurent and St. Albert Impact before ultimately falling short. Despite finishing 7th, their performances showed flashes of elite quality – consistency in closing out games will be the next step for this talented group.

⚜️ 8. AS Laval (Quebec)

Record: PLSJQ Leaders | Key Results: Sitting at the top of Quebec’s PLSJQ Pool A standings with a 10 Wins, 2 Losses and 4 Ties Record

AS Laval has surged to the top of the PLSJQ and continue to showcase why they’re one of the most complete sides in Quebec. While not part of the PDP Cup, their consistent league dominance puts them back into our Top 10, proving that Quebec’s depth of talent goes well beyond just Saint-Laurent and Lakeshore.

🌊 9. North Vancouver FC (British Columbia)
Record: PDP Cup 4th Place | Key Result: Bronze medal match win over Ottawa South United (1-0).
NVFC capped off a strong PDP run by securing 4th place overall, highlighted by a bronze medal match win over Ottawa South United. Along the way, they proved to be one of the most organized and balanced teams in the tournament, able to match up against some of the country’s best.

10. UDFC (Nova Scotia)
Record: NSSL Undefeated | 14 Wins, 2 Draws in League Play.
Though not part of the PDP Cup, UDFC continues to dominate in Nova Scotia with an undefeated NSSL campaign. Their ability to consistently get results and avoid defeat, regardless of opponent, keeps them in our national Top 10.
