As of September 2025, FTF Canada’s The Playbook presents its newest update on the nation’s top U-17 boys teams (born in 2008). With the summer showcase season wrapped up, these rankings highlight the programs that have truly stood out across the country. This edition recognizes which teams are hitting peak form and making their mark on the national stage.

  1. Woodbridge Strikers OPDL 2008 Boys

The Woodbridge Strikers OPDL 2008 Boys have been in unstoppable form this season, boasting a flawless 9-0-0 record. Their ability to perform under pressure has been evident in key victories, including a 3-2 win over Whitecaps London and a 3-1 triumph against Vaughan OPDL.
