Toronto Junior Girls Summer Combine 2025

The FTF Toronto Summer Combine, held at Creditview Sandalwood Park from July 14th to 16th, was a vibrant showcase of talent! The three-day event kicked off with testing on Day 1, featuring the 40-yard dash, 5-10-5 agility test, fitness assessment, and vertical jump. Days 2 and 3 focused on gameplay, offering players the opportunity to be coached by college coaches from across North America. These competitive matches allowed participants to impress the attending coaches, both in person and via live stream. The combine was an exciting display of skill, and we are eager to highlight the top performers:

OVERALL MVP

Netanya Brown | ST | Masters Futbol Academy | 2026 grad

Netanya Brown stood out as the overall MVP with her explosive pace and relentless goal-scoring instinct. A dynamic striker, she consistently stretches backlines and finds space behind defenders, making her a constant threat in the final third. Her ability to link up with midfielders, hold the ball under pressure, and finish clinically from a variety of positions highlights her complete attacking profile. She is a forward who not only scores but also drives the game forward and elevates the players around her.

GK MVP

Isabella Lima | Dixie Soccer Club | 2027 grad

Isabella Lima was recognized as Co-Goalkeeper MVP for her consistency and presence between the posts. She came up with key saves throughout the event, showing sharp reflexes and strong positioning. Calm and composed with the ball at her feet, she helped her team maintain control and play out confidently from the back. Her reliability and poise under pressure set her apart.

Marina Despot | GK | WNY Flash ECNL & LFC IA OPDL | 2027 grad

Marina Despot was named Co-Goalkeeper MVP for her standout shot stopping ability and commanding performances in net. She made several crucial saves across the event, showing quick reactions and strong hands in high-pressure situations. Whether dealing with close-range efforts or long-distance strikes, Marina consistently kept her team in the game. Her ability to rise to the moment and deliver when it mattered most made her a top performer.

 DEF MVP

 Ashlyn Doyle | Markham City | 2027 grad

Ashlyn Doyle earned Defender MVP honors for her commanding presence at center back. She combines strength and athleticism with excellent recovery pace, allowing her to shut down attackers in 1v1 situations. Her timing in tackles is exceptional, consistently winning the ball cleanly and halting dangerous advances. Confident on the ball, she plays out of the back with control and accuracy, helping her team build from deep. Ashlyn’s physicality and composure make her a standout in the central line of the defense.

MID MVP 

Ivy Caskanette | CDM | London TFC | 2027 grad

Ivy Caskanette earned the Midfield MVP for her outstanding presence as a central defensive midfielder. She covers ground effortlessly, reading the game well and consistently breaking up opposition plays. Composed on the ball, Ivy serves as the engine in midfield, linking defense to attack with efficiency. Her ability to win the ball, maintain possession under pressure, and initiate forward movement makes her a key contributor in both phases of play.

ATT MVP 

Abby Karlson | RW | Whitby FC | 2027 grad

Abby Karlson was named the Attacker MVP for her pace, energy, and consistent impact in the final third. She flies up and down the wing, creating problems for defenders with her speed and direct play. Abby delivers with both goals and assists, constantly producing in key moments. Her work ethic on and off the ball stands out, making her a reliable and dangerous wide player.
