Vancouver Girls Summer Combine 2025

The FTF Vancouver Summer Combine was a vibrant showcase of talent! The three-day event kicked off with testing on Day 1, featuring the 30-yard dash, 5-10-5 agility test, fitness assessment, and vertical jump. Days 2 and 3 focused on gameplay, offering players the opportunity to be coached by college coaches from across North America. These competitive matches allowed participants to impress the attending coaches, both in person and via live stream. The combine was an exciting display of skill, and we are eager to highlight the top performers:

Overall MVP – Tessa Langelaan | CB | Fusion FC | 2027 Grad 

Tessa Langelaan is a dominant left footed centre back who impressed with her defensive instincts and physical presence. As overall MVP at the recent showcase, she proved fearless in 1v1 situations, consistently coming out on top, and excels at timing last ditch tackles to break up dangerous attacks. Her impact in the backline makes her a standout prospect with the tools to succeed at the next level.

Goalkeeper MVP –  Keana Kirby |GK | Nanaimo United FC | 2028 Grad 

Keana Kirby is a tall, commanding goalkeeper who earned the GK MVP title with a standout performance. She made key saves throughout the event, showing strong reflexes and positioning. Her distribution was sharp and reliable, helping her team build from the back with confidence. Kirby’s performance showcased her potential to be a difference maker at a high level.

Defender MVP – Emma Aver | North Vancouver FC | 2027 Grad

Emma Aver earned Co Defensive MVP honors with her smart, no-nonsense defending and strong presence across the backline. She was tough in tackles, quick to shut down attackers, and showed great awareness in reading the play. Confident and consistent, Aver brought stability to her team’s defense and proved to be one of the most reliable stoppers at the event.

Defender MVP – Malia Franco | RB | Surrey united | 2028 Grad 

Malia Franco, the Co defensive MVP is a highly technical outside back who stood out with her ability to create plays from the flanks. She keeps possession under pressure, makes smart decisions on the ball, and isn’t afraid to push forward and join the attack. Franco’s combination of skill, vision, and attacking intent makes her a dynamic threat on both ends of the pitch.

Midfielder MVP – Brynn LeBlanc | CAM | Calgary Blizzard | 2028 Grad 

Brynn LeBlanc, the Midfield MVP, is a true number 10 who consistently drives her team’s attack with creativity and confidence. She has a natural ability to both score and assist, often finding pockets of space to make decisive plays. Her vision, touch, and timing in the final third set her apart, while her work rate and leadership through the midfield make her the engine behind her team’s success.

Attacker MVP –  London Harrod | ST | Coquitlam Metro Ford | 2028 Grad

London Harrod is an explosive forward who brings energy, pace, and purpose to every match. Her speed allows her to stretch defenses and get in behind with ease, while her finishing ability both inside and outside the box makes her a constant scoring threat. Harrod doesn’t just wait for chances; she works tirelessly off the ball, pressing defenders and creating opportunities through sheer effort and determination. Named Attacker MVP, her combination of athleticism, technical ability, and relentless drive sets her apart as a top-level offensive talent.

Young Player MVP – Lauren Land | LB | LUSA BCSPL 2011| 2029 Grad 

Lauren Land, named Young Player MVP, is a composed and intelligent left back who plays with impressive maturity and control. She shows clean technical ability on the ball, keeping possession under pressure and making precise passes to initiate attacks. Land reads the game well, makes smart decisions, and consistently gets forward with purpose to support the offense. Her combination of technical quality, creativity, and awareness makes her a standout on both sides of the ball.
